A QUICK UPDATE...
Well, actually... a quick non-update. Because of some mixups in communication between Lily and me - my bad - and the final push for the guest comic we're doing over at the Wotch, we missed Thursday's post of Celeste. Fortunately, Lily and I are on the same page - literally! - now, so we'll post on time Monday. I'm terribly sorry for the missed day! - Pete

Coming About
Having drawn first blood, the Heretic acts quick to draw second. Notice that although the Heretic is swinging away from the fluyt, and thus increasing the distance, this tactic brings the port broadside into play more quickly than coming about to starboard in front of the fluyt. The maneuver also continues keep the Heretic between the fluyt and open sea, pinning the helpless merchant to the island.

Celeste finished February at about 130 on the TWC! That's wonderful! Lily and I want to thank everyone who voted faithfully to keep us up there and hope we can continue this in March!

Well, we finished February and didn't make our monthly goal. Many thanks to the those who contributed. We encourage others of you to consider donating.

The March 2010 wallpaper is still "under construction". We'll probably have something for you in a week or so. Obviously, if you donate before the wallpaper is ready, you'll still get the wallpaper.
